Yes, There are ATMs and you can as long as you have a visa card or a MasterCard. You can also change your cash in the village KASIKORN Bank office, opened from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm from Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday closed).
The exchange rate offered in the airport is low. So, prefer changing in Thai Muang and only change the minimum you require in the airport.

The house is connected to the Internet network by a fiber optic cable with a speed of 1 G/s. It is possible to connect either via the Wifi hot spot or by RJ45 network cable. The measured speed is 930 to 990 Mb/s. Note that the connection is private and not shared with the owners' house.

Muang Thai is an authentic and non-touristic small village. There is only one bar, located at approximately 400 meters of the bungalow. Mainly attended by Thais, he proposes some classical drinks like Mojito or Margarita. Prices are very soft (less than 100 THB). It is joined to a small restaurant allowing you to eat after some glasses.
If you wish more animation you will have to go to Khao Lak, a balneal city located at about thirty minutes’ drive from the village. There, you will find bars, pubs, restaurants of several nationalities and cabarets.
Thai Muang is a small village, so don t expect to find there “malls” as in Phuket or Bangkok ! On the other hand, many small shops are available for day to day needs. The two main mini market chains are present at Thai Muang: TESCO LOTUS and 7 Eleven. The second one is open 24/24h 7/7d
Yes, we have an agreement with Tip, one masseuse living in the village. Upon requirement, she will be able to come and give you a good massage at the edge of the swimming pool. You may choose the Thai traditional massage or the oil massage which is softer and more similar to the European massages you are used to... It is an excellent experiment which most visitors after trying, renew every week. The rate is of 350 THB all included.
